My name is Hicham Jennane. Currently I am teaching Arabic at the elementary level at Viridian Elementary School in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD, but I have a 17 years teaching experience in French and Arabic in all levels and have taught in Morocco and the United States. I hold a Bilingual Associate degree in teaching, A BA in French language and literature, and an M.A in teacher effectiveness with an emphasis in curriculum. I served as a collaborating teacher with several universities, a mentor, and reviewer for ACFL. In 2014 I was nominated for The Rotary Teacher of the Year in Des Moines, Iowa. I presented in several nationally recognized conferences including The IWLA, STARTALK, and I facilitated discussions with professors and students around Films at Simpson College during the international education week. I provided several professional development sessions.
