* Any current or former teacher of the Arabic language may become a regular member of NATA upon payment of the annual dues. Regular members shall be entitled to all privileges of the Association, to vote after six months of membership and may be elected to the executive board after having been a Regular member in good standing for two consecutive years.
** Full-time graduate and undergraduate students may become Junior Members upon payment of the annual dues for Junior Membership. No one may remain a Junior Member who is no longer a full-time student, and in no case may anyone be a Junior Member for more than a total of six years. For the purpose of membership, Teaching Assistants are defined as full time students. Junior members shall be entitled to all privileges and the right to vote after six months, but will not have the right to hold office.
*** Anyone interested in the teaching of the Arabic language and who wishes to support the purposes of the Association may become an Associate member of the Association upon payment of the annual dues. Associate members shall be entitled to all privileges, the right to vote after six months of membership, but will not have the right to hold office.
